Our Statewide Student Day of Poetry has been broke up into five regional events for 2015. You are now perusing the LOWELL event!

On Thursday, December 10, Mass Poetry’s Student Day of Poetry is taking over UMass Lowell! SDOP features a morning poetry sampler, writing-generative workshops, performances, readings, and a student open mic. We’ve got something for everyone, from the student who isn’t even sure they like poetry to the senior leading the after-school poetry club.

Writing Through Movement

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

There are 1,000 ways to start a poem. This is 1,001. In this workshop we will explore how to enter the writing using nothing more that what we were born with: our bodies. Yes, it might be uncomfortable, but nothing worth trying isn't.
